Thinking about joining us on a Sunday? Wondering what to expect? We really hope the information below will help make you feel at home. If you have any other questions please e-mail

When does the service start & how long do they last?

Our services start at 11:00am and finish around 12:30pm. Lots of people begin to gather from 10:30am and we have complimentary tea & coffee available before the service.

What should I wear?

The dress code is very informal! We have put a couple of pictures on this page so you can get a flavor of what it’s like.

What do I do when I arrive?

When you arrive you will be greeted by one of our connections team. They will give you one of our welcome packs, a copy of our weekly bulletin and answer any questions you have. If you would like, they can show you around the building including where the children’s rooms and toilets are.

Can I take my Children? Will they be catered for?

Children are at the very heart of who we are as a church. We allow our children to have a lot of freedom during the service especially during the initial time of singing (worship). Around 20 minutes into the service a notice will go up on the big screen informing the children it’s time for them to go their age specific teaching which happens in rooms just off the main hall. Please see the links below for more information. The Children come back through to the main hall as the sermon (teaching) is finishing.

Do I need to be a Christian?

Absolutely not! Our services are open to anyone regardless of where you are on your journey.

Do I need to give?

As a church we believe in giving and being generous. We take up an offering during our service however we would never want anyone to feel under pressure to give, especially if you are here for the first time.

Do I need a Bible?

No you don’t need a bible as we normally have printed notes in our weekly bulletin. We also have wifi throughout the building for those who use on-line bibles.

What about the sermon (teaching)?

A typical time of teaching will last about 30 minutes. The content and style is dependent on who the speaker is but we always try and build in a lot of practical application into our teaching. We want people to leave knowing what they should do as a result of what they have just heard. We also like to try and tackle real issues which people face. Please see our talk’s page to get a flavor of what they are like - click here.

What is the music (worship) like?

We would describe our style of worship as contemporary. Our band is made up of a variety of musicians including guitarists, key

board players, drummer’s to even a cellist! Some of the worship songs we sing are written by Bethel, Hillsong, Rend Collective, Tim Hughes, Chris Tomlin and Elevation Church.

If they have questions, who to ask

Our connections team is always available but any of the people you see speaking from the front or a part of the band are more than happy to help answer any questions you might have.

What is King’s Strathnairn?

King’s Strathnairn is an expression of church that meets in Farr community hall on a monthly basis. For more information please click here.

Go M.A.D. Mini's meet together in Room 1 (in the Factory extention)

At Go M.A.D. we explore God's truth together from the Hands-on-Bible. Each week we use a variety of games and activities to learn and have fun together. The Hands- on-Bible Curriculum provides relevant themes for each age group to help us understand and experience God more and more and to equip us to Go M.A.D.!
